I was referred to Mirella from my study abroad center in Florence because I needed someone to talk to about my anxiety. She gave me the tools necessary to overcome my anxiety and helped me get through the semester with ease. I was so nervous about studying abroad and thanks to Mirella, I was able to fully enjoy my experience. I also had just come out as queer before leaving and we addressed this issue as well. I didn't realize that she was such an expert in these issues! She's a great listener and helped me navigate through my own feelings. I came back home a completely different person in a good way!
